A Family of Four Needs Your Help!

Here at Matthew19Nineteen, we love to help as many people as we can, but sometimes we just can't do it alone. We have a mother of three children who is divorced without receiving any support. Though she does not complain about that and works harder to make sure she is giving her all to provide for her children, she still found herself not being able to make ends meet when she fell sick for a few months.

This mother wants to remain anonymous but does not mind her story being shared, so out of respect, we will honor her wish. This mother usually would have all of her bills, including rent, paid up or on time. She is a bus driver for the district she lives in and loves her job. She was working two jobs for over five years, the school bus and daycare, and being up from 4 am and making it back home by 8 pm or later, took a toll on her body. She ended up in and out of the hospital due to her blood pressure not being under control, that alone led to her missing so much work that she fell behind on her bills. She continued to play catchup with her bills but it was an uphill battle.

When the summer of 2023 came around she was only able to make her rent payments and a few smaller bills, but her rent ended up only being able to be paid on the 15th, which was one of her paydays. She only gets paid on the 15th and the last day of the month from the district and her smaller checks from the daycare were bi-weekly. To help improve her health, she decided to leave the daycare job and to be more available with the district as they do pay more, which eventually helped but it was a bit too late. By the end of July, her car ended up needing work done that cost over $7,000 to get fixed. She was without her vehicle for a week, she ran through her savings and had to do some borrowing at that point. August came in and she was back to asking her apartment manager if she could pay on the 15th with an explanation of why. The original answer was yes, but a few days later she was informed that paying on the 15th was no longer an option and that if she didn't have her full rent including late fees paid by the 10th an eviction would be filed along with new fees added. This mother tried to reach out for assistance only to be informed that the apartment manager turned down the assistance from that third party. Our client continued to try to make payments only to continue to be denied due to the complex not accepting partial payments. This mother was able to get a lawyer involved to help buy her time to get all of their things out of the apartment and clean it. This family was eventually evicted on November 30, 2023, with a bill of a little over $5,000 as the balance. They moved into an extended stay and have been living in an extended stay since.

This mother needs temporary assistance financially. She needs to pay the balance owed, but it's difficult due to her having the pay the extended stay and her storage fees on top of her regular bills. Summertime is right around the corner, and we want to share her story to help get her family into a home by the end of this month.

Her five-year-old will be six in May. She has applied for other better-paying jobs in hopes of preventing this from happening again while trying to get her family out of this situation. While she is waiting for background checks and the next steps in these other jobs to come through, she is still in desperate need of temporary financial assistance to get her back on her feet.

If you can find it in your heart to financially support this family by donating whatever you feel is right for you to donate or share this with at least ten people, please do so. Your support can go a long way.

Her children are ages 18 (she is graduating this year), 5, and 2.

We want to thank you for your support and for learning a little about this divorced mother of three.

You can donate here. All funds are going to this family for their needs. We have verified the verity of her claims. She has exhausted all other forms of help.
